Archaeological evidence of massage has been found in many ancient civilizations including China, India, Japan, and Greece and has developed as a complementary therapy over the last 5,000 years.
Massage is widely recognised as a method of stress relief and relaxation, however there are a number of other benefits – relief from postural stresses and muscle pain, antidote to anxiety and depression, assistance with sleeping patterns, boost to immunity and aid for lymphatic drainage.
Massage is usually carried out lying on a treatment crouch, however it can be administered with the client seated, leaning forwards on an ergonomically designed massage chair.
In all my massage treatments I use Neal’s Yard products (unless there is a specific requirement for another product). Details of Neal’s Yard products can be found here.
1 hour and 30 minute treatments are available and can be given as part of a combined treatment. Please see the Combined Treatments page.
