PARAFFIN WAX TREATMENT
FOR HANDS AND FEET
The use of Paraffin Wax for treatment purposes can be traced back to Roman times and today the treatment is used for a variety of purposes including the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, and general sore, stiff and inflamed joints. The treatment works by helping to lock oil in the skin and increasing the blood flow to the treated area.

At Top to Toe, the treatment is for one hour during which the hands or feet are dipped in molten wax three to four times and then wrapped in a mit, to allow the treatment wax to take full effect. The treatment also includes lower leg and foot exfoliation, together with a massage to the hands or feet (whichever is not dipped in the wax).
